After all these years finally sat down and watched it this afternoon (inspired by Dustin Hoffman on Bio yesterday).

Strange movie, very typical late 60s. Outstanding performances by both Voight and Hoffman, but overall, kind of depressing.

oh yeah, the one where Mom&Pop steal Jerry's sneakers, and Kramer keeps getting nosebleeds.

yeah, wasn't this movie rated x or something like that when it came out? Don't get that at all but it is an old movie. It was very depressing and once was enough for me.

Great depiction of the underside of New York at that time.

Best movie song ever.

"Everybody's Talkin'" was an old song by folksinger turned marine biologist Fred Neil. Harry Nilsson's cover was chosen over this song Nilsson wrote specially for the film.

Bob Dylan wrote this for the film, but it too was inexplicably left out
