when you gave verbal permission to the police to search your apartment knowing there was weed there.
Say no and make them get a warrant. While they are doing that, flush the weed. It will be a loss but you would not have been arrested.

Seeing as how they could smell weed coming from the apartment, they wouldn't need a warrant.
