It was a relatively small tree, so no splitting required on the branches I kept.

I was wondering what kind of mammoth crepe myrtle we were talking about here. If it doesn't burn well, you shouldn't have much to dispose of.

The Bradford Pear tree in my backyard split mid-afternoon through Isaac. I will never again let that shite be planted in my current yard, nor any future yards I may own. I am glad that it's gone. It was at the end of its life expectancy, and I felt pretty confident that it would split in the wind.

Unbelievable amount of branches. Seemed like a good excuse to buy a chainsaw. Hindsight, I wish I had just paid somebody to come and take the shite away...
