no.
In regards specifically to UTenn, Chavis has too many ties, real and perceived, to Fulmer.
I also think that if he had designs to become a HC, his name would be linked with job openings. similar to kirby smart.

Thank god for Chavis if not for him Les's record would have sucked the last 5 years. If he weren't the defense coach this year we would probably be 4&3. 
I keep hoping that Lsu will sometimes this season find an offense.

They might but I don't think he would take it. He has said before he doesn't ever want a HC job.
