Here's the way I look at it. After a front, the weather is usually nicer. I'd rather spend a pleasant day on the water. So I'd go and bring extra food and drinks.

this is truth. however, in my experience fishing is best the day before the front and about 2-3 days post front when the wind starts to lay down.
