ESPN Insider -RSJ on A&M Visit
quote:
"They're always going to come to fight," he said. "LSU got Johnny [Manziel] out of his game and instead of rushing the [defensive] ends, they kind of sat them. They made that adjustment after the first quarter, and it showed that their coaching staff was on top of everything and that their coaching staff is watching out for everything. Each team played a great game."
And while Sumlin and McKinney had their chance to chat with the four-star receiver on Saturday, LSU made sure to follow up on Monday. Tigers special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey, who has been recruiting Seals-Jones for the Tigers, made a stop by Sealy to chat with the No. 10 player in the 2013 class.
"It was great," Seals-Jones said. "We chatted it up with our head coach [Sealy head coach Jimmie Mitchell] and we just talked about coming to Baton Rouge and checking out their game against Alabama. He said it's something like Kyle Field but maybe a little bit better. So I want to go out there and see how it is."
Seals-Jones still plans on visiting Death Valley for the LSU-Alabama showdown on Nov. 3 so he can compare the experience to the one he had at Kyle Field on Saturday. "I just want to go out there and check it out for myself," he said. "[McGaughey] said they're kind of missing a go-to-guy and they really want me and are recruiting me hard so I just want to go see how I like their atmosphere and their stadium and see how it goes."
Did this weekend's trip to Texas A&M affect his feelings on the two schools? "Maybe a little bit, yeah," Seals-Jones said. "Each team has me thinking a little bit harder about where I want to go."
After his trip to LSU, Seals-Jones said he'll talk with his family about making a decision.
"After I make that trip, I'll sit down, talk to my parents and I'll probably make a decision, probably after football season," he said.
