Was beating Bama in 2010 more improbable than now?

I remember sitting in the stadium during the first half of that game thinking we wouldn't sniff pay dirt. But when JJ and RR hooked up for that 70 yd td in the 3rd quarter, Tiger Stadium woke up and it was game on. One of my top five games ever.

Even in 2008 when Alabama was undefeated #1 and came in to play against LSU's clusterfrick of Malveto and Pick six machine Jarrett Lee (That season, anyway)...LSU still had a great shot to come away with it in the end.
This year's defense is way better and people want to already write the game off....oh well. Whatever.

Improbable? Dumbest statement ever. TS at night, an extra week, and the revenge factor. Football is an emotional game. This team will be up for bama similar to bama in their undeserved shot in the MNC game.

For the record, I don't think it's improbable. I meant the perception amongst most college football fans. I think we have a 50/50 chance.

i must admit after we lost to Auburn in 2010 and had that terrible display of offense against a mediocre defense, i to thought saban would have a field day with 2 weeks to prepare for our shitty offense. JJ went on to play one of his best games as a tiger. who's to say mettenberger cant do the same
