After scoring on his first 2 punt returns this year (one called back) all OBJ does is fair catch. HB7 almost never fair caught. We need someone willing to try to get some yards

Maybe he is following the coaches instructions.

He's the best suited on the team. The problem has been his decision making. Something changed for that dude after the Washington game. No swagger.

I fully expected him to make Mathieu a distant memory. But let's not forget, people were calling for Mathieu to get benched on PR all season last year (literally. This was the majority opinion on TD). Then the Arky game came around, and he was a phenom all the sudden.

He has been a liability back there for a while.

A few weeks ago everyone was bitching that he was being too risky trying to run instead of fair catching it.

Now he's fair cathing too much. Cant win with the rant

To be fair, "the Rant" is thousands of opinions, not just one. I think people tend to forget this sometimes.

What I don't understand is if we are just going to fair catch, why do we set up the return every time? Why don't we ever try to block punts/FGs? UF has blocked 12 kicks in their last 20 games. We need to take some chances to help our hapless O.

This place is nuts sometimes.

Not a knock to you, but first you want the guy to field it and try to get yards, the next you want him to fair catch it.

He tried to get yards last week (inside the 10) a couple times and it didn't pay off. We lost yards.

So, maybe he's following the coaches instructions?

Don't know about that. They aren't seamless, to be sure, but they're hardly hapless.

Paul Turner. I am dumb founded that he has only seen the field a couple of times. He is one of the most electric players I've ever seen with the ball in his hands. And if he doesn't even get a chance he's going to transfer.

the main thing I get irritated about is anyone that catches a punt inside the 10, it rarely pays off, coaching decision or not, I just don't like it
