when Mike Leech was putting up video game numbers with Harrell and Crabtree at TTech he did an interview and said they basically had four plays they based their offense off of to do what they did. Execution and talent is a LOT more important than unpredictability or play calling. Unpredictability is kind of like running gimmick plays. It may work occasionally, but you can't base an offense off it.

Unpredictability should always play a nice role though in your offense unless maybe you're just totally superior in talent and superior in execution.
