we run the ball because we have talented backs, a great defense, and a qb thats's about to play only his 7th game in college.

when Mike Leech was putting up video game numbers with Harrell and Crabtree at TTech he did an interview and said they basically had four plays they based their offense off of to do what they did. Execution and talent is a LOT more important than unpredictability or play calling. Unpredictability is kind of like running gimmick plays. It may work occasionally, but you can't base an offense off it.

And we're about to line up against a qb who's about to play only his 6th game in college and leading the SEC in offense and rushing.

This. Except, the word WIN. We are a powers run team and impose our will on teams. or we did until we lost 3 Olineman. People need to realize this.
