Was the almost Pick 6 Mettberger's fault against USCe or the WR's?

Was drunk as hell and didnt fully see the play

Stud's for calling the same play over and over. Plus, LSU isn't the only team with good players. The CB recognized the play and jumped the route. When the ball was released he was 3 yards behind the receiver.

Nah. Mett should have never thrown that ball in the first place. It was in double, maybe triple coverage and he basically threw it directly to Legree, who barely had to even read or jump the route. Better to throw it out of bounds or check down then to even risk it.

In my opinion it was Mett's fault. If you watch the play, it was max protect two route play. It was well covered, but there was a single high safety. If Mett had waited a little longer and led the receiver into the open middle of the field, it's at worse an incompletion.

But, I believe he's a little gun shy due to bad o-line play. And he's being coached to try to get the ball out faster as a result. So he rushed the throw.

partly coaches' fault for the same play calls and partly good defensive play by the CB. He read it and jumped extremely fast on the route.

Not every int we throw is our fault, sometimes the defense just makes a play.
