Recommend a good Sangiovese and a good California red blend. $25-$50.

ok lets see..... Bogle Phantom is around 18, Rodney Strong Symmetry (if you can find it) is around 50 but amazing stuff), Hogue Genesis Meritage around 16, Estancia Meritage around 30(awesome) Trinchero Mario $45 .............. anything by Benziger or St Francis......sangiovese to come

and Sangioveses are cheap, Ruffino has a great one..... remember Chiantis are made from the Sangiovese grape so no need to spend major bucks on one...

Marietta Cellars Old Vine Red Lot #57 $13

sangiovese (non-Banfi/Italian):
Altamura $50
Carmichael $20

Tudal Family's Tractor Shed Red is a Sangiovese blend and works for both. $12
