Im curious as to what they have out there, literally. Subways, McDs, Applebees etc?

I was talking to someone recently and they acted like it was a barren wasteland as far as ANY options to eat.

Rocky and Carlo's for dinner meals.
Arabi Food Store for a quick po-boy.

Or you could head over to Viet town.

Why would you want to eat things from a chain when Da Parish has mo bettah options, Rocky and Carlos for one example. You are in one of those places where you can buy seafood from the boats when you go home.

Chalmette cuisine?

When I read the title I thought "Chalmette cuisine? Chalmette has it's own cuisine?"

When Cane's opened a few months ago it set a franchise record for biggest opening week for any store in Louisiana. It's all in what you put out here. We have places like Rocky's, Par 3, Arabi Food Store, Ben's, etc that offer po-boys and home-style cooking. If you're looking to put a chain down here then it will do very well. If you put a Chick Fil A down here I'll give you my first born.

That's Stonewalls. It's ok. If you want much better BBQ just take the 7 minute drive to The Joint in the Bywater.

Yes, Im not doing any research. Just going to use the food board as my main reference.

It's a simple questioned that was spurned by a recent discussion.

No one douches up your date question threads, douche. You could solve a lot if you "did your own research!!11"

This was literally the first thought that I've given to it, so I really have no idea at this point

I have a few franchises I work with (Chik Fil-a isn't one, sorry). I was just trying to see what was out there since I haven't been through there in quite some time.

Dammit.

Also, there's 2 more "upscale" (upscale for da parish ) called Meme's and Bella's. Meme's is a $20+ per plate type stuff with good steaks and seafood. Not your typical parish place. Bella's is more of a $10-$15 per plate type place with good pastas and paninis.
