Is it appropriate to counter a trade with an equally ridiculous offer?

Every other week, this one guy sends out the most ridiculous trades.

Usually it's a decline and move on, but do any of you ever counter with some ridiculous K for starting QB type trade to let them know how awful the offer is?

I don't really know this person, FWIW, so it's not like he's a buddy I can call out.

Hell yes it is

frick people who insult my intelligence. If they are going to offer me Cedric Benson for Ryan Mathews, I'm going to offer them Fitzpatrick for Aaron Rodgers

A guy in our league has 4 good WR's and only 1 RB worth a shite. He's so delusional at trading that he has yet to get a decent RB2. He's playing backup RBs.

Every league has "that guy".

I absolutely can't stand it when people send obnoxiously horrible trades. I ALWAYS let them know how insulted I am. In there defense though... every league also has a guy who inevitably gets trade raped year after year... so these guys will keep making offers until some dumbass accepts.
