Even though i am fan from one of LSU's rival teams, I must say I miss seeing him play this year. He was a flat out game chager and on hell of a player. Team loyality aside, he was great last year, just hell on wheels.

It sounds like he is getting his life back on track and that is the most important thing. He also shows how loyal himself and other players are to Miles and LSU. He could have played FCS ball this year. But wanted to sit out and go home to LSU.

Great player
Better man

That's what impressed me the most.

Giving up a year of eligibility (presumably a year) shows dedication and maturity.

If he rejoins the team next year, you will hate him again.

ORLY?

I thought we were just one of the good teams Bama has to play every year.

Ingram and Tebow come to mind with this, I couldn't stand them while playing against, however they work their arse off and back it up - so from a football stand point I have a lot of respect for them.

Can't really compare personal decisions to TM per se, but as far as their work ethic and competitiveness I can see your point.

Hope this SI crap isn't a setback for him. I wish him the best getting his life on track, and as much as I miss seeing him out there I still think CLM made the right decision.

Most logical thing I've ever heard from a gump.

Yep, i know some of the Bama fans called him dirty and he wasn't that good but that was bullshite. He isn't the best cover corner, but AJ put the ball where only the receiver could get it and they all made incredible catches. He is best where he can blitz and create turnovers and in the return game. Either way I hope he gets off the drugs and gets his life straight, football or no football.
