Knew all the Van Halen talk was a crock of shite. It's impossible to get good music at the SB now. I will watch on mute, in slow motion.

There went my only reason to watch the Super Bowl. Just as well, I will not have to be punished for 3.5 hours to catch a 20 minute show.

well, eddie did recently undergo emergency surgery, so if VH was originally on the short list, that probably took them out of the running.....

My suggestion is combining old with new.

Eric Clapton , Jack White, John Mayer

something of this sort. Most would be fine with it.

I think it's a great choice. Big, glitzy popular singer to do a big, glitzy, popular show. I don't see the problem. Or are we pretending we don't like Beyonce this week?
