Is this not what USCe tried to do all game? and we still managed 256yds rushing

Notice that SC had no permimeter contain, though. They had 9 men literally inside the hashes on nearly every snap. If you happened to get past the first level you were pretty much gone.

A&M's key has to be to get some key stops, particularly in the Red Zone. Pressure on Mettenberger can get him off rhythm so we can start with Cover 1 Run Blitzes, which with Steven Jenkins in the game have been very effective.

Our Rush D has been exposed the last two weeks because we were in the Nickel or Dime for about 99% of both of those games.

I think A&M needs to score 24 or so to feel comfortable in this game, and that is challenging, but feasible if Johnny limits turnovers and we get Ryan Swope back from a concussion.

This game may even come down to special teams. I think it will be within 1 possession either way.
