Same here, it was an ungodly heat...and then a beat down thrown on top of it...

To this day I still hate that stadium...

I was there that day. We sold our tickets before game time and watched it in a local bar.

Yeah, it was. I was in the pep band for that game. We were right at field level. We had our share of comments for the Yell Leader right in front of us. He never cracked, though. I have to give him that.

Anyone who has ever taken notice of
TGBFTL knows that we NEVER take off our jackets like other bands do. I've always like that practice, because those stupid overall pants unis look like crap on TV. Wish they could have made an exception that day, though. It was freakin brutal, but the grad arse in charge was under strict orders- no removing jackets whatsoever. I don't remember anyone passing out, but it was a long, quiet bus ride home.
