He's open on most routes durring games, but Mett is having trouble finding him since ODB is our #1 guy. Landry's strong point coming out of all the camps was his route running, and he gets open. I think this will also open up ODB more down the field. I'm hoping we start seeing the ball go 80's way a little more

It's clear you've never watched an LSU game.

I don't think you understand how it works.

actually, I've been to all the home games, and he's open. Mett zero's in on his reads and most of them go to #3. After he's covered Mett gets rid of it or takes a sack.

If any of our receiver's where just constantly getting open, the coaches would see it.

It looks to me as if all of our passing plays are meant to go to one route only and then get rid of it.

I think they have. Jarvis got more looks Saturday than he's been getting. I'm just hoping the trend continues.

You should probably drink less, then.

You know that Landry has the same number of catches (22) as OBJ (not an official member of the Wu-Tang Clan), right?

Mett has completed passes to 14 different receivers, which kind of makes your assertion somewhat specious, to say the least.

Yes, all the hype about him coming in was his route running and ability to get open. Problem is, it's not happening. You have to realize when he is open, most of the time it's some type of clearing route because he's one of the fastest (if not the fastest) WR on the team. Look at the slant and go route where it looked like Mett over threw him, not the case, Landry broke of his route early and got caught back peddling.

Now he does have the potential to be very very good, just not quite there yet.
