Why on earth is Fjax taking carries from the best RB in the league?!

Is any other Spiller owner frustrated seeing Fjax fumble and average 3.3 ypc while Spiller has a 7.2 ypc? And yet they give more carries to Fred..

How can Fred Jackson take carries from Arian Foster, Ray Rice, or Adrian Peterson?

I think he has the potential to be good as any of those guys if given the full workload.

Dude is definitely talented. He was so explosive at Clemson that I figured he would translate into the NFL. Has not been totally automatic, but he could productive as a 15-carry back, since he can break the big run on any play.

I have both of them in one my leagues. I started Spiller and sat Fred Jackson and it payed off. I'm gonna win this week no matter what but I could have scored more points if I started FJax and sat Frank Gore. I'll get back to you when FJax costs me a win though.

I see what you mean though for the most part.

Coaches love a back like Jackson. He can block, catch the ball, and he protects it well. He can carry it 20+ times a game no problem

Spiller is good. He did gash the 22nd and 28th run Ds in KC and NYJ. He is more of a Jamal Charles type back, meaning he can get his with limited carries. Not as great at pass protection and can be prone to fumbling sometimes.

I think the 2 backs will need each other down the stretch. They can be a Charles/Thomas jones type duo where both can succeed

Every time Spiller has had the full workload, he's put up 20+ points. It's frustrating that they still work in Fred Jackson. I'm pretty sure Spiller had the most fantasy points out of all the RBs before he got injured. Granted, that was only 2 games but he was putting up the same numbers at the end of the year last year when Jackson got hurt. When it comes to the Bills, they may be better off playing both. But for fantasy owners it's frustrating because Spiller is a beast when he gets the majority of the carries.

Dealing with two injury prone backs on the same team. High risk reward.

I really like both backs. I was lucky as hell to land both of them in my auction draft. Buffalo has a solid O-line, maybe one of the best in terms of run blocking.

When Buffalo plays a team who can score points, both of their value goes down. They happened to play a team in Arizona today who has no run game and is terrible in protecting the QB on passing downs.

Sure, both backs stepped up against a defense today who has been pretty good so far but just consider the whole situation.

They should both do well next week against a pourous Tennessee Titan team.

Fjax just doesn't look fully healthy. I personally think he is so afraid to lose his starting job, he's not letting himself heal. I don't mind a split but just wished it was skew more in favor of Spiller like 60-40.

maybe he isn't used to sharing carries either.

he should be. he's 31 years old, I think, and he's coming off a season ending injury. Then he goes and gets hurt in the opener. This time it was sprained ligaments in the knee instead of a broken leg. Jackson got a nice contract extension though right? As long as he is out there, he is going to get his carries.

Spiller did have a lot points against the Jets even though they were playing behind the whole time though.

Last year after FJax went down, Spiller still struggled in road games. When they played at home though, he was lights out. That hasn't been the case so far this year though. Spiller has stepped his game up. I think Spiller ends up taking the cake but I agree with you that it will involve a big time share along the way. Spiller still hasn't mastered his craft in every phase of the game.

He's shared carries his entire career.

He did not get a big contract ext...the injury derailed that. He's 31 but not used up as he's always played second fiddle until last year.

Hahahahaha, best back in the league. But yeah, CJ should be getting a heavy majority of the carries.
