More specifically, Mett was doing a three step drop and passing it quickly. This worked very well for a while until USCe jumped a route and a subsequent TD. It became predictable. Mett also used the shotgun and the pistol formation some.

He needs to correct his passes being thrown too high. They are difficult to catch and they are stretching out the receivers which put them in a bad position to be drilled if they make the catch. receivers hate catching balls thrown like that. This is correctable.

This team has a lot of potential but, it is a work in progress.

Short passes worked great...fades on the other hand....well?
