My opinion has nothing to do with 2011.

Clowney is the best pass rushing DE college football has seen in a very long time.

Why in the hell would you pass more? He'll just create a huge disruption and account for turnovers and sacks practically every drive, especially against JD.

If you run at him, and use counters, traps, cross bucks, to throw off the other linemen, THAT is the recipe for success.

In response to me saying:

You must be balanced-but tactically balanced-and by that I mean you must throw SITUATIONALLY smarter than we have done.

I did mention to accentuate our QB's strengths & also to be smarter about playcalling and targeting receivers, right? Or am I taking crazy pills?

Meanwhile, what are you on about by me saying throw it more? I'm just saying that Connor Neighbors & JC Copeland don't need to get 15% of our targets on our passing plays.

If you disagree, I'm perfectly okay agreeing to do so with you.

You have to pass if you want to win. If you don't get 9 out of the box, it doesn't matter who the lineman are, we won't be able to run.

I'm with you on this one BigED. I've said it all week.

But, I'm not pig-headed enough to place all my eggs in that basket. Without moderate success with that approach, I would definitely change gears.

With moderate success on the ground running at the ends, and using misdirection, I could see Jacobs and Clement having a big game.

I'm also looking to give the staff a little credit for finally implementing some sort of wildcat variation for this game. If they don't, they never will.
