Got the bride talked into a new bow setup. So I thought I'd let the OB Ballers help me pick it out. Compound of course.

Ill hang up and listen.

I'd wait a month if you can. All of the major bow companies release their 2013 bows in October and November. If you don't like what they come out with you can save on the 2012 models.

If I was buying a bow today set up exactly like I want (priced at bottom end of what I've seen)

Bow Mathews Helim $759
Rest Rip Cord Code Red $80
Sight Spot Hogg Real Deal (wraped) $169
Stabilizer Axion 3 inch $65
Quiver Mathews T5 $100

Total $1173

If I needed to sacrifice to keep around a $1000 budget

Bow same
Rest. Same
Sight Flashpoint Rush $100
Quiver Alpine Soft Lok $50
Stabilizer Limbsaver $25

If you are wanting to stay in the $700-$800 range I'd look at the Mission Ballistic with the above accessories. They just came out and are getting great reviews. Apparently they are hitting 5fps over the listed 330fps IBO speeds. For $499 bare bow it would be hard to match that performance with the quality of the Mission line
