Saw's Barbeque is good in homewood. There is also a sushi place that is decent but very overpriced. Dram is a whiskey bar that has pretty good burgers. New York Pizza is decent.
J clydes downtown is pretty good for burgers. Highland's is a legit restaurant, very high end but the only place that would actually rival anything in New Orleans (that I have been to).
