Costs waaaaaay more in a death penalty case than it does life in prison
You may very well be right but I find this very hard to believe.

Hell yea I'd go, people used to actually be afraid of the law and getting caught back then.

Then I would definitely be there. I would be curious to see the drinking games people came up with for this type of function.

For those of you that don't believe in the hangings. I have an alternative and I think it would save money and would wipe our hands clean of these problems

Pack these people up in warm clothing. A little food and water. Put them on a plane and drop them with a parachute in another country not friendly with Americans. Eastern Siberia/Russia. Iraq. Afghanistan, North Korea for the people convicted of murder or child rapes.

Wish them well on the way out and they are no longer allowed back in the US.

Would I condone it? Yes. Would I watch it? Probably not. That shite is disturbing.

Yes. My grandfather told me about going to public hangings in Covington when he was a boy.

Nah. Thats automatic death at the DMZ. They MAY live otherwise but it won't be The US' problem.

Can you imagine JaQuan from north Baton Rouge living in eastern BFE Russia? I'm sure he'll fit right in.

Same here... As one or two other posters have alluded, that which has been seen cannot be unseen.

I don't want to see someone die... Plain and simple!

I still have the mental image of that damn video someone insisted I HAD to watch of the Serbian (?) soldiers doing a number on a guy and the gurgling sounds he made as it all went down. I don't want to witness anything like that IRL!

But do I support the use of the death penalty for such heinous crimes? Damn skippy!

I'm sure they cut off an ear, finger or toe from the body to keep as a "memorabilia" from such an important event.
