Brought my truck for a tune-up to the shop. Was warned that the plugs are 3 piece and can easily seperate and snowball into a huge issue if its froze down in the motor. Anybody ever heard of this. Fwiw the guy that owns the shop has never done me wrong and told me to bring it back after hunting season just in case they wind up having to keep it for a while.

I heard they can break and require a special tool to remove.

I think they charge you for the tool every time, even though they have it laying around somewhere out back, if you know what I mean.

I have definitely heard of this but don't know much about the issue.

I think they have to pull the heads if the plug breaks off.

Prayers sent.

My dads 04 F150 cost him 800 to 'tune up'
Due to those POS flex fuel plugs.

Start now spraying liquid wrench on them until you go to do it.

It can be a fricking BITCH to do.
