I wouldn't expect most to. I mean, this isn't Batman or something. I will say there's a lot of potential with this show. Making Slade/Deathstroke Arrow's trainer is a fantastic concept. I'm saying Slade/Deathstroke but I'm not so sure he'll even end up being the one ultimately wearing the mask.

I liked the introduction at the end with him telling Speedy not to believe every sob story she hears.
Very fitting of Harper's personality.

I'm a virgin when it comes to Green Arrow. I can only imagine the nerdgasm fans of the comic got when it turned out that kid was Roy Harper.
I really like this show and the "realistic" approach it takes to the genre. Of the big villains they've used from the comics thus far, I liked James Callis the best.

I have no clue who Roy Harper is other than what I saw tonight. Guess I now know how people in Walking Dead threads who haven't read the comics feel. Only difference, I'm not gonna start crying like a bitch about spoilers.

Yeah...I thought Roy Harper was just going to be a random love interest for Thea. I didn't realize until after the episode when I looked him up on Wikipedia that he was such a big character.

I actually enjoy the comments. Fills me in on the green arrow mythos. Only thing I knew about him was he wore a hood, was rich, and could shoot a bow. I have no idea about his villains or allies.
