I love the idea. Maybe a little tacky but I think the players need it. And it never hurts to show support. The players read this site and the negativity definitely overshadows the positives. They should know that most of us have their backs but with all the dumbasses around here it's hard to look past the blatant hate

I believe you because you said so. No, I don't think a lack of support loses games but giving them support doesn't hurt. And yes you jackass, the players have been mentioning negativity from "fans" on this site for years now. Even recruits have mentioned it. If recruits are seeing it then it may not be a deciding factor, but I could help their decision. THAT affects our program.
I hate saying it but scar is one of the best fanbases to play for. Their fans support them through thick and thin. (I'm aware there are exceptions to every rule). That's how our fanbase was before we reached elite status. As a whole, we aren't elite fans. It's fricking pathetic that some ppl are already seeing the season as a dud bc of 1 loss. Not going to games and selling tickets bc of a fricking loss? We don't need fans like that.

I think I'm doing this right. I've been following a few players since last season but I've never sent out a tweet.
You just pick the player, type the message and then end it with a # sign, followed by sort of a motivational piece?
