With that said, there have been instances where Rages failed to open, broke blades on impact with ribs, opened at release, opened in the quiver, etc. these are variables that, for the most part, don't exist with a fixed head.
This happened to you? If so, you're doing it wrong. If not, you're just making shite up like all the other small-brained mech haters. It's truly sad we have so many here who apparently just cannot think for themselves.

Doesn't have to happen to you in order for it to be a reality. shite happens when you climbing trees and getting your shite together and getting ready to shoot, last thing i need to be worried about is a mechanical fricking broadhead that needs to be just right.

I tracked a deer that my cousin shot with a rage (quartering away) and one of the blades broke at the rib. The blade was stuck between the bone where it broke and the lungs had a 1 inch cut. It was pretty obvious what happened. It doesn't take a masters in engineering to know that an unsupported 1 inch piece of steel isn't going to be as strong as a 1/2 inch piece of supported steel.

I have tracked a deer that was shot by a rage that didn't open. Fortunately it was shot through the heart and we found it. Did the guy "do it wrong?" I don't know, but he's a master electrician that owns his own business so I figure he has enough sense to use a Rage broadhead.

I bought a pack of rages when I still shot meat seekers and they rattled and would deploy in my quiver. I never shot one at a deer and gave them away.

I'm not making shite up and I don't know how I "could be doing it wrong" when I took them out of the package, screwed them onto my arrows and put them in a quiver designed for mechanicals, which I might add, had no issues with the Meat Seekers.
