A 1" diameter 4 blade broadhead has 2" of cutting surface neglecting the ferrule

A 2" 2 blade rage has 2" of cutting surface neglecting the ferrule

They are for me because they shoot better on my bow than all other fixed blades that I've tried.

If i went back, I'd go slick. I find Muzzys inconsistant hard to tune and Thunderheads will not stay together off an arrow.

They also don't like going really fast. At least the old ones don't.

Sharp as hell and they fly true. I don't know if they're the best, but they haven't given me a reason to change.

and what if it deploys at the wrong angle meaning the 2 inch spread of the only 2 blades are at the wrong angle hitting the deer. Three and Four Blades even though only 1 inch out give you a safer circle cut.

Probably one of the reasons they're not as popular as they once were.

what would you call someone who uses a crossbow with a Rage tip?

My roommate.

In his defense though, he just had elbow surgery and is going to be out of commission with his bow for a while

i never could get muzzys nor thunderheads to fly very well.

NAP Hellrazors and Steelforce fixed are in my experience the truest and fastest flying.

Wish i had 400-500 bucks to blow on broadheads and testem myself

ive heard a ton of great things about slicks though.

Yea me too, but I'm not that worried about it. I found something that works good enough for me.

I haven't. Been bow hunting for 5 years, but I only bow hunt 2-3 times during bow season and 2-3 times during the Rut. I've passed on dozens of does and been tempted to shoot some nice younger bucks. I only hunt at a friend's in Tensas, I'd never hear the end of it if I shot one under 150 that wasn't a cull.
