If you could choose the next OC at LSU....

Who would it be? Although I am in tune to college football as a whole, I have no idea about coordinators and such. So I ask you, given LSU's recent offensive shittyness, who would be your ideal OC?

The creativity you bring to The Rant is very enlightening.

Dana Holgerson
Actually realistic? I would say Todd Monken off the top of my head.

What about Paul Petrino?

HC at ULL ,Mark Hudspeth, would be an interesting choice. He won't be staying at ULL that much longer if he keeps on improving as he is. Has a lot of upside and would be a great hire. Not to mention it would be a great grooming session for him to take over a big time coaching job and would open a lot of doors for him to eventually be a HC at a BCS conference school

this is pointless. as long as leslie is at LSU the offense will be a dumpster fire.

Unless our line can block and we find receivers who can run a route and make catch it won't matter

Since LSU doesn't have one......I'd take Gary Crowton back!!!
Seriously, just get one......anyone. Surely, being a perennial Top 10 team with it's history, LSU could find someone worth while.

CBS's Gary Danielson ... Brilliant football x and o's mind. Recognizes mismatches on the fly. Just a very knowledgable mind that does his homework.

Monken, if feasible.
Brian Johnson of Utah. Youngest OC in FBS football (25); was a great QB at Utah (led the team to fantastic records, beat Bama in Sugar); smart guy, leader; doing some learning on the job now in Utah and getting better all the time; from the Houston area and has close ties to that area being a hometown hero type of boy. Unlike Stud, would get off his arse and recruit.
Hire him, fire Stud's fat arse, fire Ensminger and his bbq sauce, hire a good OL coach, hire X to coach TEs, move Krag to admin.
Thats all I can think of without looking too hard but there are lots of talented young offensive coaches out there that would die to coach all the talent and have access to the resources we have at LSU.
