Took the Pitt ML(-240) to win a unit. Great money management I know, but I can't see the Titans winning. They are about ready to turn on Munchak. CJ has been bitching to the media and they are about ready to collapse. Pitt just always seems to win these games and not cover so I just can't trust the spread.

You may win that bet but I don't see any value in it at all.

Anybody else liking the Giants ML against the 49ers? I think San Fran will have a tough time running the ball. Not saying Alex Smith can't beat the Giants throwing it, just don't like the odds. Another thing to add is how good the Giants play on the road too. I just feel the Giants will go in to this game to make a loud statement.

The Giants are a BEAST road team. However, Frisco is also a beast at home ATS.
14-3-1 ATS since 2010 at home
9-0-1 ATS Since Harbaugh took over at home
LINK
ETA: The giants conversely are 10-8 ATS on the road since 2010.
As a road team, NYG is 11-7 straight up. I too thought they were an excellent road team, but it seems last year's playoff run clouded my judgment. ATS on the road they are simply average.

What is NYG's ATS record on the road in the Pacific time zone the last 5 years? I bet it's terrible.

I sense a facetious tone, but either way:
NYG ATS on the road in the pacific time zone 3-1 (don't know the closing numbers, so it could be 4-0)
NYG Straight up on the road in the pacific time zone 3-1
coincidentally that 1 loss in both categories are the 49ers.

The only thing that worries me about tomorrow night's game is that Polamalu is out again.
The Steelers D is good with him, but below average to average without him.

I know, but it's the NFL. Anything can happen, especially a road team losing to a crappy team.

Just take the under tonight in Pitt/Tenn and count that $$$... I actually wasn't being facetious with the NYG in PT question, I wouldn't have been surprised either way. Giants do have a good road mentality but I'm passing on this game.

riding the under until it fails....
this is the first week I am somewhat nervous about it, both Ds are pretty poor

Pitt:
3rd - Opponent Passing Yards
11th - Opponent Rushing Yards
Tenn has a piss poor defense with an offense to match.

that's fine but......Pitt's D isn't good if you've actually watched them play

I understand the value of the "eye test" in some instances, but 3rd in pass defense is no joke. Especially if Pitt gets an early lead (which is plausible) and the titans are forced to throw.

You may win that but I don't see any value at all. Tenn has given up over 30 points in every game this year and with Woodley and #43 out I could see the Titans putting up some points.

SVP had some guy on talking about the game tonight. Said like 90% of the money is on Pitt, yet the line has not moved. Called tonight a "game for the sharks". Sorry, I am not a gambler but follow the lines so I do not know the lingo. SVP went with a heavy lean on the Titans.
Now, my two cents, Thursday night game, anything can happen (See last week). Living just outside of Nashville and following the Titans for the past years, this game is one they seem to win or come away with a "moral victory". I listen to local sports talk all day and everyone is against them, ready to give up on the season, etc. and that is when they seem to restore some hope locally.
I do not like the Titans, I actually love the meltdowns, but this game just feels like one where they will keep it close and give the fans some hope.
Another thought, Steelers fans will probably make up at least 30% of LP Field tonight.
I say all that to say this, be very careful with this game tonight.
