No need to be ashamed that you aren't a coach. It isn't any surprise after reading your posts.

I'm done with you, think what you want.

I coach at the high school level and I always find it funny when fans think answers to football problems are so black and white. "I dont know why we dont just do...." "All we have to do is..." "the problem is....." "why cant the coaches see that...". I've had friends ask me what would you do right here at certain points in games and they always look at me funny when I say I have no idea. I dont spend anytime scouting LSU's oppponents, I dont spend time preparing the players during the week. I know this: when preparing a game plan you have to first ask "what do we do well?" or "what do we want to hang our hat on?" Then you have to figure out if that looks good against what the opponent is showing on film. People always complain via TD or facebook when a certain game plan doesnt appear to be working. People always want to make an adjustment and starting doing ______instead. Its not that easy when you have spent the whole week on the game plan that you created during the weekend. You cant just abandon it and pull something out of your arse. If LSU's offensive staff was convinced they could run right at Florida and developed the plan to do so and worked on that all week then they get into the game and see that they cant its hard to just switch to something else. Sometimes your opponent just has a better plan. (I know fans think that Miles and Co. should have the best plan every week, but there are a lot of great staffs around the country) I firmly believe that games are won or lost before the game is ever played.

Field position, turnovers, time of possession, and end each drive with a kick. Wins these and win the game.I know thats obvious to all fans but I do believe that is what LSU wants to hang its hat on and thats what they plan for.

The truth is that none of these online "experts" know how to fix the offensive problem because they dont spend the time in preperation
