What's the point of having home field when you p,ay the first 2 on the road?

As a casual observer that just seems dumb. Although what do you expect from a game that has a playin wildcard game.

If the home team loses one of the first 2 they have to win 2 out of 3 on the road. This format greatly helps home teams.

Why is there no instant replay in baseball?

It changes back to 2-2-1 next year. This gets asked everyday on here
