The only impressive win before the UF loss was UGA

And it was a game that we were fortunate to win and were statistically dominated

Everyone else we played was terrible

I'll give you the list of world beaters that we played before the UF loss

ULM - not this year's caliber
Arizona - a very very poor Arizona team
Western Illinois - directional Illinois
Miss State - they were terrible

We were 5-0 with one quality win over UGA and 4 blow out wins over teams that were far far inferior to us. This year's UW team would beat pretty much all of them.

People keep bringing up "MSU the SEC opponent" as if that was a quality win. The 2 weeks before that quality win MSU lost to Tulane and Houston. They went 2-10 and the only teams they beat were Vandy and Memphis.

The other BCS conference world beater on that schedule was the Arizona Wildcats

Another 2-10 team that got beat up by everyone worth a shite

LINK

Yeah we blew them out. Great. They also lost 59-7 to Purdue, one of 6 games where they gave up more than 40 points

Well then you obviously feel that the 2012 team has the same chance to do as the 2003 team did.

Lets see how that goes.

People here keep acting like we knew that the 2003 team was so awesome before the UF loss

Yes we were ranked high (just like this year) but the only team we beat with a pulse was UGA

It was after the UF loss that we found our identity

The facts seem to bear that out

I'm with ya pman from a defensive perspective. We may have our best dline in LSU history. Time will tell.

But you gotta admit our offense is light years behind 2003. We had 1 bad offensive game and that was vs Florida. We've already had 3 straight shite o performances in 2012.

Why is this important?

I was above the drinking age if it matters to you that much.

Hey at least this offense scored on UF. The 2003 one didn't.

So we beat a team with an actual pulse that year. Hmmm.... have we done that this year? No.

Our current wins are against 3-2 UW, 1-4 Auburn, 1-5 Idaho, 2-4 North Texas, and a 2-3 FCS team in Towson.

so 1 FBS team that is over 0.500 or within 1 game of 0.500.

Yup, that compares to scraping by a top 10 team.

I'm not saying that

But it does seem like catastrophe has predictably set in after one loss

Did we get blown out by the top 10 team?

No. We lead for most of the game. We just didn't finish.

Perspective. That's all.

I respect the point you're trying to make but disagree with you. Hell - I hope you're right. But nothing I've seen to this point gives me much hope that we won't lose at least two more games.

Have a great day.

Yea but 2003 UGA is way better than 2012 UF. and guess what 17 points yesterday, and people are talking about us winning the national championship still, not doom & gloom.

On defense, not at all

Hate to tell you Florida will get bost raced by GA, USCe and Fla St. They have no offense and beat up a defense that was on the field for almost 3 quarters
