How is that? It would be MORE advantageous for the division winners because the wild card team would have to play 3 games that the division winners don't have to play and puts the wild card team behind the 8-ball in that they will have to start the DS with their #4 starter.

It is unfair because division winners would have to take a whole week off. It will never happen. One game playoff is very dumb, but a three game playoff would be even dumber.
Imo, the best solution would be eliminating divisions, balancing the schedules and the best 2 or 4 teams from each league get in.
