When I first met my fiancé, who was born and raised in Metairie, she said that she can count on one hand how many times in her life she had eaten anything over rice in her life. It was always potatoes and vegetables. She or her mom had never owned a rice cooker.

I'm probably in the minority. I like medium grain. I like my rice to stick together in a nice clump.

And I like this brand. Locally grown and processed.
