The amount of tip shown in the OP is well below 20%.

I don't think it's old school or old people syndrome. My father is 87 and he tips like he's a fricking Rockefeller. fricking waiters at Jubans are living on my inheritance.

Now grandpa, well he's dead.

My standard is 20%. Or around that anyway. I always round up on my tickets anyway. Like if it is a 55 dollar tab, I'm probably just writing 70 on the ticket. Obviously, 15 bucks is more than 20%, but we are talking about 2-3 dollars here and that isn't going to break me. Unlike my mother who pulls a calculator out at every meal.
