By the way, my son was at the game...his thought is how absurd it was that st Louis did not catch the ball...good grief, he got back under it, then gave way to the outfielder. The ump was trying to protect the runners. He and everyone around him was disgusted and embarrassed by the several hundred aholes who threw things. Had the ball been caught, a great call.

Just stop. The ump was not protecting anybody. You aren't going to double up runners on a 225 foot pop up. The ump is an idiot, doesn't mean you have to be too.
