He wouldn't conform to societal convention.

I didn't realize it was along those lines.

Reminds me, bring back Bushmaster.

Gaucho didn't bother me .. hell .. another poster, mostly fueled by Gaucho's antics and BS about himself IRL, accused him of being a convicted child molester .. I liked Gauch .. caught his back in the thread and did my part to get it whacked .. Then the little fricker assed up on me a few weeks later in a thread .. frick that little unappreciative attention whoring twit ..

When that snitch yankeeundercover and baconismeatcandy got me banned in 2010 gaucho vouched for me and got me re-instated. That was the first time I had ever heard of him. I support his re-instatement.

The thing about gaucho was he did try to make you laugh, and he did it with his own material. Was it hit and miss? Yes, but try to find something that puts out that much original content without tons of collaboration and is always stellar. You'll be hard pressed. Considering most of the stuff on the OT is from somewhere else or derivative as calculus, if not wholly copypasta'd and plagiarized.
If trying to bring something new to people is to be attacked, if making just one person laugh, or think, or feel something outside of the dull drone of sameness is to be treated as an intrusion upon those "too good" for it, then those people should shut the frick up when they complain about the OT not being "as good as it was".

If it isn't, then we have only ourselves to blame.
I didn't always like gaucho.
Sometimes I couldn't stand gaucho.
But goddammit,I stand BY gaucho!

I agree, original content is very underrated. The internet (TD, FB, Twitter, etc.), in general, seem to be a race of who can repost or slightly modify something first. I have been guilty of this.

They were just weak troll attempts.

Skillet is an example of how trolling can be fun and informative for all participants.

When he was bad, he was really bad. But he had some golden moments too. Maybe his little hiatus will help him hone his material.

If anything, the hiatus will mean he comes back rusty and delivers more sub-par trolling attempts.

No. He was on a huge upswing the last few weeks before he was banned and will pick up where he left off.

Gaucho said that the message he got said " banned for excessive trolling".

I do support his return though

Guacho has no "material" .. He posts in threads to hijack them and become the center of attention .. agreed .. he has his moments .. but, for the most part, I think the guy just likes to hear himself talk ..

But he's been banned long enough .. There are far worse than him around here ..

I agree with this. I think skillet is far more ingenious in his troll attempts. However, I also agree with Rag. There are far worse on the site, and if he was just banned for excessive trolling and not something more offensive to posters, I think he has served enough time.
