Yep. That laziness resulted in him rapidly ballooning into the fatass he eventually became once the benefits of great genetics started wearing off.

If he had stayed in shape he could have been a 1st ballot HoFer type.

Well you never know really, and like I said I can't state one way or the other because I haven't really read anything about it.
I think losing Prado/Chipper could impact the Braves more from a leadership perspective because they are so young. McCann/Hudson need to really step up as they are the veteran leadership in that clubhouse. Bringing Chipper back would be huge even if he is only good for 100-110 games on the year.
