I like both Delgado and Teheran. At the same time, I'm weary of regression Teheran took last season and I think Delgado could use another year in the pen.

Trust me, I understand the pros and cons of the transaction. I just don't like the return... and I can't be talked out of it. There had to have been a better return out there in my honest opinion.

Just checking something here...when you say "pen", do you mean that you think Delgado should spend another year in the bullpen?

There may have been a better option but it may have come at the expense of taking on another salary. I'm sure Wren didn't just pull the trigger with the first guy he talked with.

It was a salary dump that gives us around 14 million to acquire a bat.Walden takes a spot in the bullpen that we don't have to worry about. It gives us a spot for Delgado or Teheran.Hanson looked like a great pitcher when he first came to the majors.I don't think Hanson will ever be the same pitcher after losing his velocity on his fastball.
