once umpire Holbrook saw the SS raise his arm and get under the ball, he called infield fly.

but at some point that does not become a routine play by an infielder. And i think where the ball was hit made the call bullshite. So i cant say i agree with you.


If someone skies a ball to the warning track, and the SS is able to run under it, is that an infield fly?


Ive seen it called in the OF, but never that deep.

I think on a ball that high, you can consider it a routine infield play, but you can also not consider it just as easily, which makes it a weird play in general. I really do see both sides of this one. It's a difficult call.
