I am not watching. On the road so don't know what happened but:

Infield fly is called when an infielder has a legitimate chance to catch the ball

It was the wrong call IMO, but the infield fly can be called in the grass as well. I can see why he made the call as the SS was right there and not in a full sprint, but that's a pretty bad call.

IT HAS TO BE CALLED IMMEDIATELY! AND YOU KNOW WHY IT WASN'T? BECAUSE IT WAS A frickING FLY BALL TO THE OUTFIELD.
