I have only hit one and it happened when I was about 14 or so. Bases loaded and we were losing by 3 runs. Grand Slam to win it in the last inning. I couldn't believe it. I was never a power hitter.

I hit my first one in first year of pitching machine and it was a grand slam. 
Didn't start hitting more till arould 14-15 when I played on travel teams. Last one I hit was senior year in high school against our cross-town rivals. We ended up sweeping them for the first time in 15 years. Felt fricking fantastic

June 30, 1990 at The Box during a summer league game was my last home run. I have the ball.

I hit 39 in high school - 16 senior year.
Only hit 3 in college though - I suck.

I wasn't a big kid so I always had warning track power in little league and high school.
I've found my groove in softball though...grand slam included haha

I was always the fastest guy on the team and so the coaches always had me lead off. They just wanted me on base and then have me steal second and third. I also bunted a lot. Never hit an out of park HR....doubt if I could have. My oldest son turned out to be power hitter and routinely hit homers. He can also crush a golf ball.

I did something like this during the state tourney in allstars when I was 16. The tournament was at Southeastern's field and I crushed an 0-2 pitch to the power alley, I just knew it was gone. I threw my hands up and started jogging to first and BOOM, off the 365 sign!

I was usually pretty good for 4-5 per season, high school, USAAA, and American Legion. I was lead off, coach got pissed if I didn't take until I had 2 strikes. Typically didn't get many "great" pitches that late in the count.

Hit one off future Major Leaguer Jacques Alexander in a high school playoff game in the mid 80's. MC vs Dville.
He still remembers it too....

I hit one homerun in high school.
To tie the game against a division rival.
It was awesome. I wish I was a power hitter. Crushed that ball to right center field.
Chicks dig the long ball :(
