Quick Question Tom
I've been reading allears about Fantasyland Expansion .. and they have a to be open date of Dec 6th, But preveiws staring Nov 19th.. What does this mean?
I'm gonna be there from the 16th thru the 25th of Nov and was hoping to be able to see some of it

i remember them saying that they would open it little by little. Like as part of it was finished, they would open it. I have a friend that works in the new storytime with Belle part. I will ask him and let you know.

Probably soft openings for those sections. Limited capacity viewings and times.

It was absolutely terrifying.

This is true for the entire expansion. It's going to be staggered openings through 2014. But what she's asking is most likely soft opening dates/times for the section that will be fully accessible on December 6th.

We did the castle lunch in February for my daughters 3rd birthday. It was nice and fun, but it is pricey. The wife wants to do crystal palace because we can get in early and have been told they have photo pass photographers out and can get good pictures without a lot of people behind you.

What is everyone's favorite, "can't miss" rides for 4 & 5 year olds?
My thoughts were, in no particular order:
- Thunder Mountain
- Splash Mountain
- Pirates of the Carr.
- Haunted Masion
- Race car track (my son loves to drive stuff)
- Tea cups (only bc it is a DW staple)
- Jungle cruise where you see the hippos and alligators
- It's a Small World (Actually, I hate it, but the kids have to see it or I would feel incomplete).
My kids LOVE Cars and Finding Nemo. Any "must-dos" that deal with those?

Unfortunately you won't be able to access rides like the 7 dwarves coaster or the Little Mermaid ride. The soft opening would only apply to the completed section. I think they actually just laid the first piece of track for the coaster last week.

Finding Nemo the Musical in Animal Kingdom.
Lights, Motors, Action! Auto stunt show in Hollywood Studios features Lightning McQueen and others. My favorite show at WDW.
Also The Seas with Nemo and friends in Epcot if you want something relaxing while you are waiting on a fast pass or something. There's an interactive Crush the Sea Turtle there.

I know that it doesn't help you this time around, but there is a Hilton on Disney property that uses Disney's bus system and you get extra magic hours in the parks. It's the same points cost as the Embassy Suites from what I can tell.

Got it...Yeah I was there at the beginning of Sept. and I noticed the big steal beast sticking out like a sore thumb...Could figure out wth it was at first..

Also, you HAVE to do the Kilimanjaro Safari in Animal Kingdom. It's an amazing experience. Used to work on that ride. Giraffes come right up to your vehicle. Kids are sure to love seeing all of the animals up close and personal.

Thanks. Must have been blacked out then I booked it. Also, I needed a suite so that we had enough room.

Make sure you measure your kids heights. Check here after. You don't want them upset.
