yeah that's what kind of sucks about fantasy basketball the first 2 picks are going to get Durant and james and they are so far ahead of everyone else in scoring if the owner is halfway decent they are almost guaranteed to be the best teams

Well here's my take on the issue:

Durant and LBJ are obviously the two best players in the NBA and will be taken 1-2 every year for the forseeable future. Yes if you draft either guy you'll be well ahead.

I've owned LBJ 2/4 years i've played and won two titles in those years. Heres my team from last year:

LBJ,Harden,Kobe,Josh Smith,Sessions,Conley,M Gasol,Gortat,Humphries,Jack,RYNO,Bass,MWP

As you can see i was overpowered and went unbeaten 14-0

The counter argument is that the team i played had this:

Jennings,Z-Bo,Cousins,Ellis,K thompson,Howard,Tyreke,Marion,Hibbert,George,Big Baby,Isiah thomas.

This team was the one i beat by one point in the finals(he was the defending champ)

Hell in the other 2 years the owners of durant/lbj didn't do shite in my league.

TLDR is that yes having either one helps greatly it's no guarantee.
