Oh no, sir, it wasn't just the ending. The entire story in the 3rd game was bad and the supposedly "solid gameplay" was no different than ME2, with the addition of an incredibly forgetful MP.
ME3 promised us a trip to the moon, but the shuttle exploded right after take off.
Every post I make of ME3 will have that .gif in it.

How was Resident Evil ruined because of money? RE4 was the best game in the series. RE5 was pretty solid and 6 has a ton of mixed reviews. It isn't like they have pumped these games out quickly either.

Scruffy has played ME2 many times. He has only played through ME3 once. He finished the game just for the sake of finishing it even though the straw that broke the camel's back was when they decided to magically find another Rachni queen.
He stands by all of his ME3 bashing because it is all deserved.

There was no way BioWare could have had a passable solution to the ridiculous story divergences that were possible. They definitely oversold on that aspect.

I dunno. I had that, "It's a trap" feeling during the first mission. I think it was Ashley's new look that made me feel like something had gone astray.
