If you just want them gone, I'd spray them with an AR-15 (some may die on the spot, but most others will run off and die).
If you want to drop them quicker to harvest meat, go with an AK-47 or SKS.
Either way, go with a semi-auto rifle (maybe even a semi-auto shotgun).
As you know, you have to get your shots off quick since porky & family will scatter after the first shot (hence, no pump action shotgun). I've had hogs survive hits from my 870, but not at 20 yards.

You can do the job with a pump. I killed three with three shots out of my 870 a while back. It was a huge group of atleast 50 hogs and the first shot was an aimed shot that put it down right there. The other two were just into the crowd and they ran off and died. Semi auto would work better though.
