He's coming off the PUP in week 8, is he worth stashing if you have an empty roster spot?
They are saying he's gonna play a similar role to Sproles when he comes back. He probably won't make it through the season though but it's worth a shot right?

Smith clearly isn't the long term answer in Detroit, which is why he's not even their back up now. But he's a lot more talented than fricking Joique Bell as long as he's healthy. The guy has legit talent when he's on the field

I had smith but dumped him and picked up bell. They just don't use him, I don't know why.

The guy has bounced from practice squad to practice squad. He couldn't even make the Saints roster when they were down 4 RBs last season
